november 17th

In todays lesson we have been looking at videos on youtube of games that would be played on the x box wii and playstation looking at the detail of the animation put into the games and also looking at the new connect games and how they work and why they work which was very interesting to look at and learn about. we have also been editing our green screen videos and also our action figures video using final cut pro.

In todays lesson we were working on portraits but this time indoors to do this we used a cannon 5D and a bowens grid defuser to make sure the outcome of the photo was good. when taking the pictures we used different amounts of lighting and also changed the angle of the lighting and then looked back at the photos to see how the lighting affected the look of the picture

In todays lesson we made zombie pictures , to make the zombie pictures we had a make up artist come in and show us how to make fake blood and how to make affective wounds on ourself and also others in the group . we were shown how to make scars cuts and burns . once we had all done our zombie make up and done our cuts and wounds we went upstairs to take photos using a cannon 5D and also a 3 in 1 defuser to go over the lighting. we also used a white background but shone green lighting on it to add to the spooky affect of halloween

november 1st

In this lesson we went outdoors to take portrait pictures using different lighting techniques. to do so we had to learn about the lights and how they worked and we also learnt about the open dish and how it focused on the subject. I took pictures of emily doing this I had to make sure the lighting and hight of the light worked with her to do this i took the first picture then had to work on what would be the best light setting to work with her so the picture didn't come out too bright or too dark.

To take these pictures i used a cannon 5D , Bowens gemini lighting and also an open dish to go around the lighting

october 16th

in this lesson we used a wooden mannequin to help us with our animation. in the lesson we used a cannon 5D to take the photos of the wooden mannequin whilst taking the photos we made the mannequin look although it was dancing. to do this we had to move the mannequin a little bit at a time but not too much to make a large change we did this in between taking the photos so that when we looked back at it it looked although they were dancing.

to do this we also used a green screen affect which was a white background but with a green light shining on it which gave of the affect.
